Account and billing
Workspaces, the Solo and Team plans, the 3-day trial, limits, and how data is kept.
Workspaces
Everything in Monterva belongs to a workspace. You get one when you sign up, and you can invite people to it. Every member of a workspace can see its repositories, reviews and findings, and can start a review.
Repositories, reviews and findings are scoped to the workspace that owns them. A member of one workspace cannot see another's, and that boundary is enforced by the database rather than by the interface.
Plans
Monterva has two plans. There is no free plan.
| Solo | Team | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $29 a month, or $290 a year | $99 a month, or $990 a year |
| Reviews | 20 a month | Unlimited, within fair use |
| Connected repositories | 3 | 10 |
| Workspace members | 3 | 10 |
| Scheduled reviews | Weekly at most | Daily |
| Shareable report links | Included | Included |
| What changed since your last review | Included | Included |
Both plans start with a 3-day trial. The trial needs a card, runs the full plan, and is followed by the paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
Paid plans are not on sale yet. Monterva is in pre-release and no payment is taken anywhere in the product. Your billing page says so, and shows what your workspace has used.
How the limits work
Every limit is checked by Monterva's servers when you add something, not only by the page:
- Reviews count when they start, including re-scans and scheduled reviews, because each does the same work. The count resets at the start of each month (UTC). On Team, "fair use" means up to three reviews queued or running at once.
- Repositories. If you select more repositories in GitHub than your plan includes, Monterva adds the ones that fit and tells you it has reached the limit.
- Members include pending invitations, so you cannot invite past the limit.
- Schedules can run no more often than your plan allows. If a workspace moves to Solo, an existing daily schedule runs weekly.
If a payment fails or a subscription ends, your reports stay readable and nothing is deleted, but new reviews, repositories, members and schedules are paused until there is an active subscription again.
Data retention
Findings, reports and evidence excerpts are kept for as long as the repository is connected. Deleting a repository deletes its reviews, findings and reports with it. Scheduled retention limits are not switched on yet.
Source code is not retained at any point — see Security and your code.
Deleting your data
Delete a repository to remove everything associated with it. Deleting a workspace removes everything belonging to it.
